Envisioning Rapid Transit in Montgomery County

The County Council recently voted unanimously in support of an 82-mile rapid transit system for our community. But what would rapid transit look like in Montgomery County?

It’s too early to give specifics, as Montgomery County must first examine potential design and engineering options for such a rapid transit system. But a new video by Communities for Transit depicts several options, showing how existing roadways could be retrofit to ease traffic congestion by providing a faster commute alternative.
