Dear Councilmember, I care about the future of White Flint and it is very important to me that you do NOT support increasing the Building Lot Termination Unit (BLT) requirement above the five percent threshold. If you follow the advice of the lobbyists who are pushing for a 15 percent requirement, that would result in the loss of $40 to $50 million of public amenities from our new White Flint -- that is the cost of 2 elementary schools, 8 libraries, 2 to 3 recreation and community centers, or 4 civic greens! Now is not the time to compromise the future of the White Flint Sector Plan. Please keep the BLT requirement at a reasonable rate of five percent and pass the Plan as soon as possible. Thank You.
